Angus and Julia stone are on constant repeat on my ipod. The brother sister duo from Australia have been creating folky indie blues jams since 2006. Originally starting penning and performing songs at open mic nights all over there local hometown of Newport Australia. They used one another as backing vocals for performances, but compose and write their own songs. The two singers have very differently styles while Julias has a broken fractured feel, Angus's is very sweet smooth and soft. They released there debut album A Book Like This in 2007 which went gold in Australia. They have gigged everywhere from UK, Ireland, Australia and the US. These two are amazing and I enjoy their sound so much. Its a great calm chill vibe that can soothe any hardened soul. Check there eps Heart of Wine and Chocolate and Cigarettes.
