Nothing Gets me going more than a woman that can sing play guitar and make very good tunes. LadyHawke aka Phillipa "Pip" Brown is such a woman who fronts and plays all the instruments on her debut self-titled CD. She took her name from "Ladyhawke" after a character played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1985 movie of the same name because she sees herself as a sort of pop superwoman creating radio-friendly songs with a single bound.
