I hate when I am not the first person to hear about new artists, but we can't always be the first in line. Case in point, Cage aka Chris Palko a New York underground rapper finally getting some time in the lime light. Thanks to the director of his new video and long time friend Shia Lebouf. Cage has been rappin since 1991, dealing with a troubled past which included a heroin using abusive dad, and his own personal bouts with drug addiction. Now clean and on the straight and narrow, Cage is preparing for his 4 CD Depart From Me. His own style of dark, deep rhymes accompanied with abrasive, rock inspired beats, Cage has set himself apart and shedding new light on a over saturated genre.
